3. What is the legal basis for processing your data?

The legal basis for processing your personal data for the purposes described in Section 2 is the contractual relationship you have with OBS as a student, teacher, or staff member. Under this relationship, OBS is committed to providing you with a membership card and giving you access to the associated benefits and services. Therefore, if you do not provide the requested data or object to its processing for these purposes, we will not be able to issue or deliver the card to you, which means you will not be able to use or access its associated benefits and services.

Notwithstanding the above, if a particular benefit or service you access with the card requires a new contractual relationship with OBS or ISIC SPAIN, the processing of any data needed for that will be based on that new contractual relationship.

4. How long will we keep your data?

Your personal data will be retained as long as your contractual relationship with OBS remains active or until you exercise your rights to delete or object to the processing of your personal data, as explained in Section 7 of this policy.

Once the relationship ends or your rights are exercised, your data will be blocked, meaning it won’t be processed except to make it available to judges and courts, the Public Prosecutor's Office, or competent public authorities—especially data protection authorities—for potential liabilities, and only for as long as such responsibilities may legally persist.

5. Who will your data be shared with?

Your personal data will not be shared with third parties unless legally required or necessary to protect the rights and/or safety of OBS, ISIC SPAIN, or third parties, investigate fraud, or comply with requests from public authorities, judges, and/or courts.

6. Will there be any international data transfers?

Neither OBS nor ISIC SPAIN will carry out any international transfers of your personal data, nor will they engage third-party service providers that require access to your data from outside the EU.

7. What are your rights?

As a data subject, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, and data portability, at any time and free of charge, by contacting:

  • OBS: By letter to OBS Formación Online en Management, S.L., P.O. Box 221, Barcelona, or via email to [email protected].
