1. Innovation

The objective of the first module of the program is to provide students with the fundamentals of Design Thinking, as well as to analyse the impact that this methodology has within the design process and the development of innovative solutions.

Professor: Ezequiel Beneït, Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Universidad Autónoma de Chile.

The Master's course " Strategy and Innovation Management" offers a comprehensive and contemporary approach to the latest innovation trends, providing students with insightful and applied knowledge of how companies can use innovation to achieve and maintain a sustainable competitive advantage.

The module proposes the analysis of the context for innovation, considering the technological life cycle as well as based exponential technologies, in order to understand how disruptive innovations can transform competitive paradigms. Through case studies, it will explore companies that have not only adapted to these changes, but have led the consolidation of new paradigms, offering a clear vision of market dynamics and successful business strategies.

Simultaneously, it addresses the internal management of innovation, discussing how organisations can develop effective strategies and execute them. Emphasis is placed on the creation of innovative business models, adapted to the current competitive environment, and on the implementation of the ambidextrous organisation concept, which allows companies to balance the exploration of new opportunities alongside the exploitation of existing ones. This integrated approach helps to understand how advanced technologies and disruptive innovation models can be effectively applied within organisations.
Throughout the module, the development of practical analytical and methodological skills is encouraged, focusing on the assessment and implementation of holistic innovation strategies.
The ultimate goal is to equip participants with the necessary competencies to identify innovation opportunities, formulate innovation-informed competitive strategies, and effectively manage change and innovation processes within organisations, preparing them to face the challenges of a global marketplace with a comprehensive strategic perspective.

Professor: Marc Sansó, Founder of ELSEBITS.

In a global context where environmental and social challenges are becoming increasingly relevant and urgent, the module "Sustainable Innovation and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)" is presented with the aim of providing an in-depth and applied understanding that will enable students to identify opportunities in this area and to be proactive leaders in the transition to a more sustainable future.

The module is structured to cover the fundamentals, from identifying sustainable business opportunities to quantitative and qualitative assessment of the social and environmental impact of organisations. Through a practical and interactive approach, innovative tools and strategies for sustainable entrepreneurs will be explored, as well as an in-depth analysis on how to integrate sustainability and CSR as driving forces for innovation in any type of organisation.

Professor: Marta Grañó, Consultora en Diversidad, Innovación & Personas.

Customers' concerns and needs are constantly evolving, accelerating even more rapidly in the era of digital transformation. Consequently, the strategy and management models of organisations must evolve with them.
Demanding times and demands for adaptation to an unstable and syncopated environment and context increase the challenges faced by companies, as well as the challenges and opportunities of sustainability and those arising from climate change. This demands a new approach to change management and related processes, leading to the development of proposals for new products, services and business models

Professor: Xavier Olivares, Founder, Director and Consultant at Isotónia.

The point of this module is to provide an overview of how, through significant modifications in product design, pricing strategy, distribution channels and promotion, or the combination of some of these factors, it is possible to anticipate new customer needs, open new markets, reposition products in the market or any other marketing action required to increase the company's revenues.

Professor: Jan Jonckheere, Manager of Internacionalitza't.

2. Entrepreneurship

Companies are facing a paradigm shift: globalization, new technologies, the thrust of emerging economies and new social trends are changing the competitive environment. In response, organizations are forced to adapt if they want to survive, but in order to do so, change is necessary. In this context, topics such as new economic paradigms, leadership in the context of change and new forms of organization, among others, will be discussed.

Professor: Marcelo de Arregui, Partner at CEO Solutions.

Business models are one of the areas where more innovation is taking place, mainly due to the latest technological advances. New business models driven by new organizations are changing the way people compete in many industries, which is why this module aims to help students see the connections between the business model and corporate strategy, all through the prism of innovation. You will also put into practice tools for analysing and building business models.

Professor: Ana Torrejón, Expert Project Advisor at AAL.

The entrepreneurial spirit must nowadays be in the DNA of any company if it wishes to grow, diversify and expand. Large companies have developed costly innovation programs to boost those invisible entrepreneurs that will help them get out of the comfort zone and aim for more. Throughout this module, students will delve into topics such as the structure of a Business Plan, the financing process and the profile and competencies of the entrepreneur, among others.

Professor: Marcelo Granieri, Head It Portfolio Manager & Agile Facilitator at ICBC Argentina.

The Product Manager (PM) is one of the key roles in a technology company, since its function is much more complex and transversal than that of the classic PM. Another key role in technology start-ups is that of the growth teams (also known as Growth Hackers). They are responsible for developing traffic acquisition channels and creating user retention mechanisms to achieve solid growth. That is why one of the topics you will learn throughout this course are the roles of a Product Manager and a Growht team in a start-up, the competencies and skills necessary to perform both roles, the main techniques of managing a technology product and the process of implementing a Growth Hacking strategy, among others.

Professor: Santiago Román, Founding Partner at L^3 - LiveLong Learning: In-Company Digital Training.

Talent in the 21st century is already one of the differentiating elements in an increasingly globalized world. The most demanded jobs in the next ten years do not even exist today, so the ability to adapt, innovate and reinvent will continue to be differential. This module aims to teach you all you need to know about the most important skills and abilities in the world of innovation through a series of evaluative tools.

Professor: Mercè Serrabassa, Founding Partner at Professionali, P&O. Consultancy in Career Management.
