Here are the 3 winners of the Closing The Gap Scholarships
Empowering Female Talent to Transform the World Through Education
At OBS Business School, we are proud to announce the three winning initiatives of the 8th edition of the Closing The Gap Scholarships. This year marks the first time the program has been launched directly by our school, with the purpose of narrowing the gaps that limit women's access to leadership positions—especially in sectors that are key to digital, economic, and social development.

These 100% scholarships cover the full cost of the master’s program and are aimed at women with a strong drive for change, seeking to transform their environments through knowledge, innovation, and social commitment.
The 2025 edition has been an extraordinary showcase of the talent, diversity, and determination with which many professionals are making an impact from their local realities.
Closing The Gap Scholarship Winners 2025
Alba Sánchez (Spain)
Risk and Compliance Manager at Grupo Caja Rural, awarded a scholarship for the Tech MBA at OBS Business School for her project: Raising Awareness of the Gender Gap in Digital Professions Among Children in Spain.
With this initiative, Alba highlights the need to educate primary school children about gender stereotypes that influence technological vocations. Through playful and creative activities, she aims to spark girls’ interest in STEM disciplines and foster a shift in perception from an early age. Her project addresses an urgent challenge in Spain, where women represent only 16% of the ICT sector.
Pilar Tramuja (Uruguay)
Independent advisor for micro and small enterprises at the Centro Pyme in Colonia. Awarded a scholarship for the Master’s in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at OBS Business School for her initiative: "Innovating from Tradition: Women Leading Transformation in Sectors Excluded from Innovation".
Pilar leads a project focused on micro and small businesses run by women in traditionally undervalued sectors such as crafts, textile design, and beauty services. Her proposal seeks to highlight existing barriers, share inspiring case studies, and develop accessible methodological tools to incorporate innovation and digital transformation from a local and traditional perspective.
Rosángela Mondragón (Costa Rica)
